Are you tired of being in a guild full of people that you don't want to be around? So are we.

The basis of our guild, Brand New Colony, is to maintain the close community flavor of a small guild by keeping the member base small and selective. The idea is that we don't have many members, but each person in the guild can feel comfortable interacting with each other member, both in regards to playing and to chatting.

What we do in [New]:

All forms of PvE - while we are not a professional PvE guild, we do enjoy all forms of PvE, including high end content and title hunting
Casual PvP - our members are also interested in practicing in player versus player environments, especially GvG, Codex Arena, Alliance Battles (we're Luxon), and Fort Aspenwood
Community Chat - it often happens that [New] members get on with the intent to complete something in game, but end up chatting for a couple hours instead.

What we expect from members:

Camaraderie - while it needs to be stated that want all members to interact in a mature manner, we also want members who generally like and are liked by the other members.
Self Sufficiency - we are in [New] because we enjoy being together, not because we rely on other members. If the majority of your green chat is spent asking for something, [New] is not for you.
Commitment - while we do not expect you to farm faction or limit the amount of time you can be offline, we would like you to be around enough for other members to feel familiar with you.

Our scope:

We intend to maintain a 20 member cap to give all members an opportunity to interact with one another. While this cap is theoretically flexible in that we will not turn away a quality 21st member, once we get around 14-16 members, we will stop actively recruiting. We do not mind, however, being part of a large, active alliance.
We do not have vent or forums, and we don't have plans to add either anytime soon.
Upon joining, new members are given officer rank when the consensus among current members is that we like having you around. This is so all members are able to recruit/guest other players and leave notes to the guild.
